The human has 46 chromosomes and a goldfish has 94 chromosomes. Why? In the articals(link) it gives an example, showing that a human has 46 chromosomes and a chimp has 48. The artical says that they are 98% the same. The answer might be about the amount of protein being made. Some facts that I found interesting, was that cats had much more chromosomes than us. Another one was how they showed the meiosis square dance. How the chromosomes go through meiosis was fun learning about. Another fact is that mutations can be harmful orn helpful. For example mutation can be helpful because it could help an organism's chance of survival.
